Repairing of defective existing building fabric; internal renovation and alterations to provide improved light and ventilation to offices, a new central staircase and lift, a new fire escape stair, an improved entrance and reception area, an enlarged cafe, and improved / increased WC facilities. A partial new second floor provides additional office space and a dedicated public event space. The development is proposed to be constructed in three separate phases.
