In principle I am against tree fellings. Trees in front gardens in Conservation Areas are more worthy of our attention than others because we just might be able to do something about it by objecting - as front garden trees might merit a TPO. This tree is reported to be unhealthy - and that will be a decision to be made by the experts. It is visible - just - only its top half, which is after all its crown. This is too marginal for us to campaign for. Best left to the Tree Officer who will be able to gain access to inspect it and judge its health. This could be difficult at this time of year. Judging by the serial pictures on Street View it is not vigorous.
