Steetview historical imagery shows that in 2008 there was a large Prunus here, removed around 2010 to be replaced with the current apple tree in about 2012. In this location it should have been on Dwarf root stock since without pruning the tree is now quite large. The new owner wants it felled claiming (with no evidence) that it causing subsidence.
