There is a detailed structural report of cracks and rising damp in the old building affected but in my opinion it does not conclusively point to the Maples as the cause. I cant find any suggested mitigation.

This is a resubmission of the failed part of the linked application which deals only with the line of Maples to be felled due to their implication in cracks in a nearby old building. I and other TCs could do with a general summary of subsidence and trees to inform a response to this and other subsidence-related applications. Who would like to put one together?
