Another back garden tree to be felled in a Conservation Area. No way to prevent it really. Aerial shots suggest it is quite large. No reasons given for the felling. People find themselves unable to tolerate trees of any size in back gardens - particularly the small back gardens that most people have. It means that the wrong trees are being selected for planting in the first place - or perhaps some trees being retained on developments are the wrong ones, and their replacement with more suitable ones should be conditioned when the houses are built so that these later and irreplaceable fellings are prevented..
