This is a for the installation of an additional handrail on the bridge along both parapets at a height of 1400mm above the deck level. The handrail is a 48.3mm x 5mm Circular Hollow Section Handrail Hot formed in S355 mild steel to standard BS EN10210 and welded to the bracket. The bracket is a 16mm folded bar stem, welded to 100 x 50 x 10mm backing plate and fixed to existing structure via M12 bolts. It will be painted yellow to match the pain colour of the bridge.
