Managing Ash Die back on the Highway is a fine balance between Amenity and Safety. This tree is subject to a TPO so will have to be replaced. This would be conditioned - the site and the species. The Applicant has mentioned replacement in the application. It should be left to the expertise of the LPA Tree Officer.
