On the face of it this looks like a total clearance, so I went to have a look. It is an extensive loss of greenery, but it also looks like the original planting was very crowded. Also - the affected trees are mainly large shrubs - certainly those that can be seen from the front of the property. If not cleared a bit I suspect that the overcrowding as the trees continue to grow will cause problems.
