This is a prominent tree in a front garden in a Conservation Area and as such is worth retaining. It is in a garden in a house at the end of a cul de sac and so its viewing public may not be great in number. There are lots of big houses around it, so lots of buildings - concrete and brick. Removing this tree increases the view of the houses on Avon Grove from Cooks Folly - thus spoiling the amenity of those living in and visiting Cooks Folly - more concrete to see. We need every tree we have. Why remove this tree to assist another tree to grow when this is already a mature tree?
