BTF response:
NEUTRAL
Three Trees were felled for this development but a unilateral undertaking was agreed to replace them with seven new plantings. Has this been fullfilled?
'The Arboricultural Officer's comments are summarised as follows: - The officer initially objected to the proposals on the basis of the removal of two of the trees (Dawn Redwood and Kentucky Coffee Tree) because they are good examples of the species and deliver a high level of public visual amenity. The removal of the Flowering Chinese Ash is not considered to be of concern due to its condition. - Following the submission of further information by the applicant, the officer's objection was withdrawn, subject to appropriate monies for tree replacement being agreed via a Unilateral Undertaking.'
