NEUTRAL
I would like to draw the Planning Officer's attention to 20/05710/VC dated 27.11.20. That Application has been reported by the Arboricultural Officer. It seems very likely that the recent tree works, particularly the removal of the Bay Tree (in a Conservation Area) was to facilitate the development in this garden - namely the erection of a timber ancillary dwelling, the subject of this Application - and so the Bristol Tree Replacement Standard should be implemented as per the AO's report.

The Proposed Block Plan shows the site with the garage canopy removed, but does notinclude the granny annexe at all. I feel that this is misleading in that the granny annexe is theprimary purpose of the application.I take issue with the conclusion of the Heritage Statement. The claim that having a large standarddesign mobile home "..enhances this area of the conservation area.." is not true. I outlined myconcerns in my objection to application 20/05637/CP, repeated below.I wish to object to the siting of a mobile home so close to the boundary with my property. Having itsituated this close to the boundary will be clearly visible and overbearing for me, and severelycurtail the enjoyment of my property. I was very dismayed to note that it is proposed to be onlyabout 2 metres from our boundary wall at its closest point and only 5.5 metres from my home. Theapplicants have a large garden over 40 metres long so the mobile home could easily be situatedfurther from the boundary wall and still be a long way from their house.I would urge that any permission for this application should specify that the mobile home should beat least 10 metres from the boundary wall.
