We note that this application to fell a diseased Ash stricken with Ash Dieback at Muller House.
However, given the importance of the location and the size of the tree, we would like to see evidence that the tree is indeed diseased and that there is not option but to fell it.
We always advocate that every tree lost should be replaced and support the applicant's plans to replace the tree, though in this case, perhaps Muller House would consider planting more than one replacement tree if at all possible, perhaps in accordance with the Bristol Tree Replacement Standard (known as BTRS and set out on page 21 of the Council's Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document - https://www.bristol.gov.uk/
