The proposed works are reasonable repeat pruning to trees which do not merit the creation of a Tree Preservation Order at this time. The works proposed are acceptable. There is no evidence presented that the Yew is causing damage to the nearby wall and no evidence presented why the Bay or the Hazel need to be felled.
In the absence of any evidence supporting this application, it should be refused.
In any event, the applicant should be encouraged to replace the trees they are permitted to remove.
