Comment Reasons:

Comment: I am fully aware of the need for more

affrodable homes in the area and especially those at a social rent. This development is not only

well planned but 100% Social rent - we should all be supporting this application.

Well designed to design out ASB and with modern needs such as solar and EV charging points.

Well done - great scheme

Brighter Places supports the proposal for 23 social rented homes in Southmead. Wehave a number of affordable homes in this area and this scheme is 100% social rent which isfantastic. It is important to note that this supports the wider regeneration of Glencoyne Square in line withcommunity aspirations and engagement.

Dear Development Management,

We have reviewed the applicant's biodiversity gain and ecological evidence and make the following comments:1. The Strategic Significance of the Individual trees habitat should be High. This is because trees are specifically protected under the Local Plan, SADMP DM17.2. We calculate that 10 'small' category trees will have to be planted offsite in order to meet the minimum biodiversity gain trading rules. On this basis, the proposals will result in a net loss of 24.27% biodiversity gain. We attach our BG Metric calculation.

We await the applicant's proposals for achieving a biodiversity gain of at least 10%.

Please publish these comments and our calculation on the planning portal at your earliest convenience.

Regards

It's really sad that despite the current objections you have received from locals abouttaking away yet more green space from the area you've gone ahead and done this, aswell asreducing the size of a heavily used play area right outside of a school. Another block of flats thatwill not be maintained, you can't even manage to fix the fly tipping issues next to Iceland. Justcontinue to take away green areas from deprived areas of Bristol. It's frustrating to see you don'thave funds apparently but can fix parks in other areas.
